Dr. Chris Brandl to be recognized at the Partners In Research National Awards

Congratulations Dr. Chris Brandl, professor, Department of Biochemistry, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, on being selected as the 2013 recipient of the Partners In Research Biomedical Science Ambassador Award for his contributions to the biomedical sciences and clinical medicine.

Dr. Brandl will receive his award at the Partners in Research (PIR) National Awards on Sunday, June 2. The PIR National Awards recognize and honour excellence by Canadian researchers as well as their dedication to public outreach.

Proceeds from the awards ceremony are used to promote careers in the areas of science, math and engineering to Canadian youth through the Virtual Researcher on Call (VROC) program.
