Dr. Ken Wright honoured by Ontario Dental Association

The Ontario Dental Association (ODA) wil present Dr. Ken Wright with the ODA Community Service Recognition Award.

This award is presented to an ODA member dentist for demonstrating significant acts of generosity or kindness for the betterment of the community and to the lives of others. Community can be a neighbourhood, charity, school or other group. Nominees embody community pride and values while maintaining their professional identities.

Dr. Wright is the driving force behind the Dental Outreach Community Services (DOCS) program, a partnership between Schulich Dentistry, community dentists and hygenists, and Fanshawe College Dental Hygiene students which brings dental care to low-income families and neighbourhoods via a portable dental clinic.

Dr. Wright is being recognized for his work on DOCS and many other community contributions over the years. The award will be presented at the next meeting of the London & District Dental Society on February 25.
