Call for Nominations - Assistant Dean Rural Regional

The Dean's Office, at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry has commenced the selection process for the position of Assistant Dean, Rural & Regional Medicine, effective July 1, 2009.

The role of the Assistant Dean, Rural & Regional Medicine includes being responsible for the coordination of the undergraduate medical education programs designated for delivery in rural and regional areas, and training blocks in postgraduate programs. The Assistant Dean will also interact with the Regional Community Development Officer, and assist in the development and leadership of an organizational structure that engages the Academic Directors.

This posting is a call for nominations and applications for the position of Assistant Dean, Rural and Regional Medicine. We would appreciate your reply by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 19, 2009. Candidates will be selected by an Advisory Selection Committee and invited for interview, with recommendation of a preferred candidate for appointment by the Dean.
