Course on Writing PMA Outcome-focused Role Descriptions

Faculty and Staff Development is hosting a specific course on writing effective outcome-focused role descriptions for PMA staff. Attendance is FREE and encouraged for all leaders/managers with PMA staff reports. Working on your own role or another role in your unit, you will practise completing each section of the new "Outcome Focused" form. You will see how the new approach focuses on what the role contributes to the unit's mission, whom the role serves, what the key 'deliverables' are, and what it takes to be successful in the role. This form aligns with the new PMA "Performance Dialogue and Goal-Setting" approach to annual performance review.

Instructor: Peggy Roffey, Human Resources Monday, March 23, 2009, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Health Sciences Addition, Room H101, Western
