Campaign Progress:
Total Pledges as of November 19 - $47,005
Total Number of Donors as of November 19 - 97
A month has past since pledge envelopes were distributed to 1700 staff and faculty at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and Robarts Research Institute and we are now almost half way to meeting our two goals - $95,000 and receiving pledges from 170 (10%) individuals. The one sure way to increase in the funds available to the United Way is to expand the base of donors. We can all make a difference - please return your pledge envelope today!
Posters charting our campaign results are displayed in the Medical Sciences and Dental Sciences Buildings and at Robarts. They will be updated on a weekly basis so be sure to watch our campaign's progress!
Moustache Olympics:
Join in the fun at Robarts on Monday December 1st when the Atrium will be invaded by "costume wearing, moustache bearing, money-raising folk".
It is not too late to participate! Visit the website at http://www.moustacheolympics.com for more information, pictures and to pledge those "moustache bearing, money-raising folk"!
The Schulich/Robarts Incentive Draw:
Drawing on the popularity of Western's Early Bird Draw, all pledges received from Schulich/Robarts staff and faculty by Thursday December 4th will be eligible for Schulich/Robarts United Way Campaign Incentive Draw.
Prizes include:
• Four rounds of golf including two carts, donated by West Haven Golf & Country Club
• one 8 GB Kingston Memory Stick, donated by Compudata Systems Inc.
• 5-day parking pass in the Siebens Lot
• Schulich half-zip pullover sweater
• Schulich leather portfolio
• Schulich umbrella.
Please be sure to return your pledge to Joan Estabrooks in MSB M138 by next Thursday. Winners will be announced during the week of December 8th.
Remember without you, there would be no way!
