Public forum on Chinese medicine

The Joint Annual Conference of the Canadian Institute of Chinese Medicinal Research and the Ontario Ginseng Innovation and Research Centre will be held October 16 to 19 at the Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre. The conference will look at treating a variety of diseases including diabetes and obesity, cystic fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis and cardiovascular disease, using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Leading experts from China, United Kingdom, United States and Canada will share the latest in TCM research. Representatives from Health Canada will also present on the safety of herbal medicinal products.
The conference wraps up with a free public forum at the London Central Library in the Stevenson & Hunt Room A, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. titled "Chinese medicine - healing & wellness: What everyone should know".
