Call for Volunteers - Discovery Day 2008

The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame is looking for volunteers to help with its annual Pfizer Canada Discovery Day in Health Sciences on Friday, May 9.

During this year's Discovery Day, Western and Fanshawe will welcome more than 400 high school students to explore careers in the health sciences. The day includes a keynote speaker, career panels and workshops with scientists, physicians, dentists, engineers and others involved in health care and health science research.

Duties include: helping with set up and registration, being a guide for students travelling to and from workshops and events, help with lunch coordination and miscellaneous assignments.

Time commitment: 2 hours or less.
