Mouthguards a must!

Dental students from the University of Toronto and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western will face off in a hockey game on March 29 at 8 p.m. at the Western Fair Sports Centre in London, as they compete for the Ontario Dental Association Cup.

Faculty and students at Ontario's two dental schools have been on the same team bringing the concerns of academic dentistry to the attention of provincial and federal governments. "We are immensely proud of our students who have taken this step to fortify the bonds of co-operation between our two schools. In the spirit of the Olympics, let sports cement closer ties," says Dr. Harinder Sandhu, the Director of Schulich Dentistry. "We commend the organizers from both schools and acknowledge the generous support of Ontario Dental Association and other sponsors."
