Over a third of the way to our United Way goal

OVER A THIRD OF THE WAY THERE!

The United Way Campaign for Schulich Medicine & Dentistry has reached 36% of its goal. So far, we've raised $27,136. Our goal is to collect $75,000. If you've handed in your pledge form already, thank you and good luck with Western's early bird draw. If you haven't, it's not too late! Please give. CLIMBING ANOTHER $1,258

The Great Stair Climb Expedition, held November 1^st had seven energetic folk sporting the Schulich logo, as part of an impressively large Western team. Our group climbed the 472 steps (25 floors worth) in about 8 minutes, making us all proud and bringing in another $1258 for the campaign. The team included: Nancy Fedyk, Gillian Sneddon, Barb Sandford, Karen Funk, Patricia Morris, Stephen Sims, and Kris Dundas. Our thanks to McCabe Promotional Advertising for donating the good-looking t-shirts. Students from Meds & Dents also made the climb!

Breakfast Bonus

Change collected at a breakfast today, organized by the Dean's Social Committee boosted our United Way Campaign by another $178.64. Congratulations to Darla McNeil, the winner of a chocolate gift basket. Our thanks to the committee for choosing to support the United Way, and for the great breakfast as well!
