Happy Anniversary
Three programs marked major milestones in 2018 as they celebrated their anniversaries. The Department of Family Medicine celebrated 50 years. Dr. Danielle Martin, MD’03, returned to Schulich Medicine to take part in the celebrations and present a keynote address. Discovery Week, a unique aspect of the undergraduate medical education program, celebrated 20 years. During the experiential learning opportunity, students spend time in rural and regional communities in Southwestern Ontario gaining their first clinical experiences. And the Schulich Medicine – Windsor Campus celebrated a decade of medical education excellence and proudly celebrated with founding Dean Dr. Carol Herbert, as well as community members, politicians, students, faculty and staff.
