Eric Lindros Receives Honorary Degree
Hockey great Eric Lindros was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws, honoris causa in recognition of his distinguished career in hockey as well as his steadfast support of concussionrelated research. Lindros has served as the Honorary Chair of the See the Line initiative – a partnership between Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, the faculties of Health Sciences and Engineering, and the Concussion Legacy Foundation of Canada. He has also been a tireless fundraiser, raising funds for concussion research, and was instrumental in the initiation and successful completion of the National Hockey League Players’ Association Challenge project at Western University, which raised $3.1 million for concussion research at Western.
