Part 4: Learning Objectives
- Explore the interaction of COVID-19 and racism in the lives of Black Indigenous Children, Youth and Families (BICYFOC) in Canada.
- Examine the implications of racism and intergenerational trauma when racialized children, youth and families present for mental health assessment and treatment.
- Consider how these issues can be respectfully integrated into a psychiatric assessment and into subsequent treatment.
