Graduated with PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, doctoral thesis was on sleep disorders, was written in English, worked in psychology departments of psychiatric hospitals in Ontario, published more than 155 articles on topics such as schizophrenia, PTSD, sleep disorders, addiction, and psychological tests, wrote chapters for medical textbooks, gave invited lectures at medical schools and universities in other countries, and presented more than 150 papers in international conventions and scientific meetings such as those of the American Psychiatric Association, World Congress of Psychiatry, and International Society of Addiction Medicine.
