Dr. Chambers grew up in Bothwell, a small community in Southwestern Ontario. He obtained an undergraduate degree in Electrical & Biomedical Engineering from McMaster University, graduating with honours before attending the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry for both undergraduate and graduate medical training. During his residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery he also obtained a master's degree investigating wrist biomechanics. Dr. Chambers has won numerous teaching awards and been active academically. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters on upper extremity injuries with a focus on wrist reconstruction and the management of scaphoid pathology.
