Sarah Hunt

Short Bio: I am a proud Northern Ontarian, born and raised in Sudbury.  Living and working in the north ignited my passion for improving healthcare delivery to northern and rural areas, and to underserved populations.  This led me to complete my medical training at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine where I lived in Thunder Bay and trained in a number of northern communities.  As a medical student, I was inspired by my community plastic surgeon mentors who first introduced me to the specialty.  I enjoy the breadth of plastic surgery, using creativity and critical-thinking skills to solve complex problems, and tailoring surgical plans to individual patient needs.  I am thrilled to be starting my Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training with the incredible team of surgeons and residents at Western University!  Outside of the hospital, you can find me enjoying the great outdoors, cooking or spending time with friends and family.
