After growing up in Sarnia, Dr. Heaton returned to Southwestern Ontario after completing his medical degree from the University of Toronto in 2005. He completed his residency training in plastic surgery at the University of Western Ontario in 2010. Following this, he completed a year of fellowship training at the Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery in Swansea Wales. Dr. Heaton is an adjunct professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Western University and has been in clinical practice in Stratford since 2011.
