Dr. Robert Zhong Seminar - February

The next Dr. Robert Zhong Seminar is scheduled on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at noon at University Hospital, auditorium B. The speaker will be Dr. Tim Regnault.

"Non-communicable diseases (NCDs), a legacy of an adverse in utero environment?"

Objectives:

1. Participants will become acquainted with the origins and impact of non-communicable disease (NCDs).

2. Attendees will gain a basic understanding of how poor in utero environments impact fetal physiology and negatively program later life metabolism.

3. Participants will learn about how chronic metabolic diseases, or NCDs, may be programmed early in utero with life long consequences.
