Zhong Seminar - October 2017

The next Dr. Robert Zhong Seminar is scheduled on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at noon at University Hospital, Auditorium A.  The speaker will be Dr. Cheryle Seguin, Associate Professor, Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Western University. 

"From Development to Disease: Lessons Learned Using Mouse Models to Study the Intervertebral Disc."

Objectives:

  1. Participants will gain an understanding of the development origins of the intervertebral disc.
  2. Participants will be provided a basic overview of the physiological processes associated with degenerative disc disease and associated back pain, and how KO mouse models have informed on the pathways that might regulate these processes.
