2019 Research Day

The 2019 annual Residents' Research Day was a great success. Dr. Albert Merati, Professor and Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, University of Washington served as the Distinguished Visiting Professor keynote speaker and Dr. Gregory Chernoff gave the Distinguished Guest Alumnus Keynote. There were many outstanding research presentations and opportunities for networking and sharing.
The 2019 Award Recipients included:
Dr. Peng You, PGY4 – Simon Kirby Most Caring Resident Award and the W. Gregory Chernoff Impactful Resident Research Award
Dr. Camilla Stepniak, PGY3 – UME Resident Teaching Award
Dr. Benjamin van der Woerd, PGY3 – Peter Cheski Innovative Research Fund Award
Dr. Hannah Ernst, PGY2 – Peter Cheski Innovative Research Award
Dr. Christopher Dwyer, PGY5 – Outstanding Resident Teacher Award
Dr. Kevin Fung – Clinical Teaching Award
Dr. Kathy Roth – Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award
