Medical Oncology Research Fund (MORF) Recipients Announced
Dr. Stephen Welch, the Chair for the Division of Oncology announced the recipients of the 2020 Medical Oncology Research Fund (MORF).This year three individuals and their collaborators have recieved grants for their research.
Dr. Ricardo Fernandes and his collaborators have received a $25,000 grant for their research on the Association between Androgen axis-targeted therapies and gastrointestinal microbiota in patients with prostate cancer.
Dr. John Lenehan and his collaborators have received a $25,000 grant for their research on the Association between chemotherapy response and gut health microbiome in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
Dr. Michael Sanatani and his collaborators have received a $8786.73 grant for their research on Identifying adaptive challenges faced by colorectal and pancreatic cancer patients and their families: exploring and enhancing oncologist adaptive leadership activity using an action research approach.
