Inside Western University’s Imaging Pathogens for Knowledge Translation (ImPaKT) Facility at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, a team of researchers is forming the frontline of defence against some of the world’s deadliest infectious diseases.

Using cutting-edge imaging equipment housed in the state-of-the-art containment facility, they’re embarking into a field of research that unites imaging specialists and pathogen experts in a fight to save and improve lives.

Agents of Infection chronicles the missions of these researchers, as they develop new ways to prevent, treat and cure disease.
