In the news: 200th Anniversary of the Stethoscope
Thank-you to all of the members of the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry community who supported the 2016 Visiting Speaker Series presented by the History of Medicine Office. There were more than 120 guests in attendance who were riveted by Dr. Duffin's excellent lecture: The Stethoscope at 200: Revolutionary Device Now Obsolete?
Dr. Duffin's lecture examined the current and vibrant debate about the role and efficacy of the stethoscope in the digital age.
The 200 year history of the stethoscope is featured in the National Post.
