Raising Hope Through Science
Are you interested in gaining volunteer experience in a hospital setting? Do you enjoy working with children? Do you love science and crafts? Then Raising Hope Through Science is the volunteer program for you!
We are currently looking for graduate student volunteers to help organize and orchestrate science-themed crafts and activities for children at Victoria Hospital (Children's Hospital) in London. Example activities include making slime and dry ice experiments!
The commitment we ask for from volunteers includes spending 2 hours at Victoria Hospital (1-3pm) running the activity once or twice a month (give or take). The equipment is provided and stored on-site!
We are looking for volunteers to fill monthly volunteer slots from December to April. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please contact the Co-Chairs directly.
(This is a volunteer position, however, we would greatly appreciate it if you could honour your commitment.)
