London Health Research Day – March 29, 2016
Mark your calendars for London Health Research Day 2016, presented in partnership by Lawson Health Research Institute and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
This unique event showcases outstanding research by students, trainees and postdoctoral scholars from across the city of London. The day also features workshops with industry leaders and an award reception.
Dr. Peter Libby will be giving the lunchtime keynote lecture as part of The Lucille & Norton Wolf Health Research Lecture Series.
Dr. Libby’s areas of clinical expertise include general and preventive cardiology, with a current major research focus on the role of inflammation in vascular disease. He is a cardiovascular specialist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and holds the Mallinckrodt Professorship of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
