Awards

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry celebrates excellence in research and academics, offering one of the highest levels of financial support for graduate students at Western University and across Canada.

There are a variety of internal awards, scholarships and fellowships available to celebrate the achievements of our graduate students. We encourage all students to carefully research each award, scholarship and fellowship and apply to the ones for which they are eligible.

Scholarships and awards are established and funded by individual donors, corporations, faculties, departments, and the governing body at Western.

Please note to all students who are applying to the below awards, you will not need an official transcript.  Students may use their unofficial Western University transcript, found in the student centre.  If you are applying to multiple awards (as the program has nominated you), you can use one transcript, and please be sure to name it "last name_first name_transcript".  If you have any questions, you may email Janelle Pritchard directly at: jpritch7@uwo.ca. For any new admit to Western University, you can use the reference letters in your application package, but please notify Janelle of that directly (please apply using the application link, and in the reference text box, indicate NA).
