Distinguished Awards – Call for Nominations
With graduation on the horizon, deadlines are nearing for nominations for several distinguished awards presented in conjunction with convocation. While the criteria and eligibility differs amongst the awards, all must be submitted by the Graduate Chair of the Department to the Graduate Affairs Office of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry by May 6, 2013. The following awards are available:
- The Collip Medal
- The Nellie Farthing Award in Medical Sciences
- The Madge and Charles Macklin Fellowship for Teaching & Research
- The Madge and Charles Macklin Fellowship for Publication
- The Jonathan and Joshua Memorial Scholarship ($1,000)
- The Jonathan and Joshua Memorial Scholarship ($15,000)
- The Cobban Student Award in Heart Research
- The John P. Robarts Award for Innovative Medical Research
- The Norman E. Nixon Marie Ramo Nixon Award
