Short Bio

Dr. Virginia Solitano is a PhD candidate in Molecular Medicine at San Raffaele University, Milan, and an Adjunct Research Professor at Western University, London, Ontario. She earned her Medical Degree from the Catholic University in Rome and completed her Gastroenterology specialization at Humanitas University in Milan. Dr. Solitano spent two years in London, Ontario, completing a research and clinical advanced IBD fellowship under the supervision of Prof. Vipul Jairath. Additionally, she holds a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology and Research Management at Western University. Her research focuses on innovative therapeutic strategies for IBD, emphasizing patient-centered outcomes, translational research, and clinical trial methodology.
