Two New Research Chairs Named in 2020 from the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics
This May, Greta Bauer, PhD, was named one of 15 recipients of the Canadian Institute of Health Research’s new Sex and Gender Science Chairs, whose research projects are aimed at exploring the ways in which biological and social influences interact to affect health and disease.

In December, Kelly Anderson, PhD, was named Canada Research Chair in Public Mental Health. She is studying public mental health using databases from the Canadian health-care system, investigating the distribution of mental health disorders and patterns of health-service use.
