Please join us for this seminar with visiting Professor Angelo Brandelli Costa and Anna Marth Vaitses Fontanari from the Pontifical Catholic Universiy of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil. They will be speaking about their recently published systematic review and meta-analysis HIV Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT-HIV) effectiveness for sexual risk-reduction among key populations: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Short Biography:
Angelo Brandelli Costa is an associate professor of social psychology at the Graduate Program in Psychology, the Graduate Program in Social Sciences, and the Graduate Program in Medicine and Health Sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Porto Alegre, southern Brazil. He is the coordinator of the Research Group Prejudice, Vulnerability, and Psychosocial Processes (PVPP/PUCRS) researching in the areas of social and health psychology, with an emphasis on prejudice and social attitudes, sexuality, gender, and HIV/AIDS.
Anna Martha Vaitses Fontanari

Short Biography:
Anna Martha Vaitses Fontanari graduated in Medicine (2011-2017) and in Biomedicine (2007-2010) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), where she completed her Master’s (2013-2015) and PhD (2015-2019) in Behavioral Sciences and Psychiatry with emphasis on minority stress and LGBTQ+ people. Currently, she holds a postdoctoral position at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Angelo Brandelli Costa.
