Bio:
Dr. Suzanne Archie, MD, FRCPC, is an Associate Professor and is the Chair of the Anti-Black Racism Task Force for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. She is a psychiatrist and the past Clinical Director of the Cleghorn Early Intervention in Psychosis Program in Hamilton. She is a member of the Peter Boris Centre for Addictions Research at McMaster University and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. She is currently a Scientific Advisor to the Schizophrenia Society of Canada. She has published different aspects of early intervention, including substance abuse, program evaluation, and ethnic diversity in pathways to care for a first episode of psychosis. Currently, Dr. Archie is engaged in knowledge translation projects involving video game technology to help youth from Black communities identify early psychosis and problematic cannabis use.
