Kem Rogers
Dr. Kem Rogers is a Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, at Western University. Originally trained as a cell biologist/anatomist in the Department of Anatomy at the University of Toronto, he focused on neuroscience and cardiovascular research for 30 years in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Western.
In 2008, he was given the opportunity to supervise his first PhD student in anatomical sciences education, and in 2014 fully transitioned to research in educational methodologies. The research studies carried out by his graduate students and collaborators in the past decade ranges from online education and software design to the effectiveness of modern undergraduate medical education curricula.
Recently, returning to his academic roots, Dr. Rogers became program manager for the Weston Brain Institute funded Dementia Prevention Initiative.
