Terry Fox New Investigator Award
Lucas Mendez MD is one of seven Canadians awarded a 2024 Terry Fox New Investigator Award for "Microultrasound technology in prostate radiotherapy - Seeking macro-advances through visualization of the micro." Dr. Mendez is a radiation oncologist at the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre, and an Associate Scientist at London Health Research Institute and will receive $450,000 over 3 years to support his research study.
