Dr. Hesham Youssef

Biography
Dr. Youssef completed his medical school and anesthesia residency program at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. After moving to Canada, Dr. Youssef completed the anaesthesia residency program at Western University. He also completed fellowships at Western University in cardiac anesthesia, transplant anesthesia, and thoracic and vascular anesthesia. Dr. Youssef is interested in the use of trans-esophageal echocardiography in liver transplant and vascular surgeries. His research interest is spinal cord protection
during aortic surgeries. He is also interested in pain management after thoracic surgery.
