Biography
Dr. Nelson Gonzalez completed medical school and the Anesthesiology Residency program at the University of Antioquia, one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America. He became Associate Professor in the same University and the Director for the Colombian Airway Management Committee for the Latin American Confederation of Anesthesiology Societies.
He completed a Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia and Transplant Anesthesia at Western University and is currently Candidate for MSc Health Technology Assessment at the University of Glasgow UK.
Dr. Gonzalez’s education and research interests include: Health Technology Assessment and Evidence Based Decision-Making, Knowledge Translation and Implementation, Economic evaluation and Decision modeling in transplants, Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, Airway Management and POCUS.
