Nursing Alumni of Distinction Award

The Nursing Alumni of Distinction Award will be announced annually at the Nursing Convocation Luncheon and Awards Ceremony and presented at Homecoming.  The recipient will receive an elegant Alumni of Distinction award as a keepsake.Western’s Nursing Alumni Chapter is pleased to offer an annual award program that recognizes significant contributions by an alumnus to the university community, the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing and nursing profession. The recipient is a role model for those new to the profession and sets a standard of excellence to which others can aspire.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

The candidate must:

  1. Have graduated from a nursing programme at the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing (1920 to present)

  2. Have made an outstanding contribution to the university community, the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing and their profession 

The Nursing Alumni Chapter carefully reviews all nominations for the award. Candidates may not make personal applications for the Alumni Award of Distinction.  The annual nomination deadline is April 30.
