Presented by the Citywide Department of Family Medicine, London Health Sciences Centre, St. Joseph's Health Care London and Continuing Professional Development - Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Annual Clinical Day in Family Medicine is taking place May 13th, 2015 at Four Points by Sheraton, in London, Ontario.
The Keynote address "Building Resilience in Our Patients & Ourselves" will be given by Dr. Mamta Gautam, MD, MBA, FRCPC, CCPE, Department of Psychiatry, The Ottawa Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa, President, CEO, Peak MD Inc.
A PowerBreakfast will precede Annual Clinical Day at 7:15 a.m.
Dr. George Dresser will present on Oral Anticoagulation in Afib and VTE. (Sponsored by Pfizer Canada Inc. and Bristol Myers Squibb Canada).
The learning objectives for the day include:
- To provide an update on a variety of common problems and emerging issues in Family Practice.
- To provide a forum where participants can bring questions for discussion reflecting the challenges they face in their individual practices.
- To provide an opportunity for group discussion of primary care topics in the workshop series.
