Welcome to a new academic year
The members of the Medicine Class of 2023 began their medical school journey with the traditional White Coat Ceremony and enjoyed a week of firsts and celebration as they became acquainted with their peers and faculty.

Tina Zhou spent her high school years navigating life on her own in Canada. Her mother’s cancer diagnosis meant she travelled back and forth to China to receive care and family support. “It was like we were fighting a war and we had our roles on different battlegrounds,” said the fourth-year medical student. - Memories of summer

Adrina Zhong, Medicine Class of 2021, is featured in Schulich Medicine & Dentistry’s 2019 Achievements Report for her work with the Women in Medicine group. The Medicine Class of 2023 is the first to have been selected through the initial phase of changes to the medical school admissions process that includes an autobiographical sketch and widened MCAT threshold. - New UME website launches
