Along the journey of illness and healing
Tina Zhou spent her high school years navigating life on her own in Canada. Her mother’s cancer diagnosis meant she travelled back and forth to China to receive care and family support. “It was like we were fighting a war and we had our roles on different battlegrounds,” said the fourth-year medical student.
Memories of summer
Faculty and staff members enjoyed the summer sunshine, food and conversation at the Windsor Campus Faculty and Staff Summer BBQ.
2019 Achievements Report
Adrina Zhong, Medicine Class of 2021, is featured in Schulich Medicine & Dentistry’s 2019 Achievements Report for her work with the Women in Medicine group. The student-led group focuses on creating a safe space and community for female classmates and allies.
Changes to admissions process puts more focus on experiences and values
The Medicine Class of 2023 is the first to have been selected through the initial phase of changes to the medical school admissions process that includes an autobiographical sketch and widened MCAT threshold.
New UME website launches
The Undergraduate Medical Education program recently launched a new website. This new site offers quick and easy access to essential information for prospective and current students.- Academic appointments
