Schulich Medicine & Dentistry is excited to announce the winners of our hashtag and photo contests.
Hashtag contest
The new School hashtag: #SchulichAdvantage. The winning hashtag was submitted by alumnus Ankur Bodalia, MSc. "If I had to tweet about my experience, I would emphasize that my unique training at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry is what made me the best candidate for my current position," Ankur said regarding his inspiration for the hashtag.
The “name our School hashtag contest” was hosted throughout the months of February and March. With more than 100 hashtag ideas submitted from faculty, staff, students, and alumni, the committee selected the top five entries to move on to the next round of the contest: public voting. The voting portion of the contest was hosted on Schulich Medicine & Dentistry’s Facebook Page for two weeks.

A Day's Anatomy photo contest
Congratulations to Jay Taylor, Meds 2014, winner of the Day’s Anatomy photo contest. His winning photo captured the interior of an air ambulance.
Sam Chen, Meds 2014, was awarded the second place prize for his photo of a sunrise over University Hospital.
An honourable mention goes to Julia Mulyar, Dents 2017, for her selfie in the dental simulation clinic.
The Day’s Anatomy photo contest took place throughout the month of March. Schulich Medicine & Dentistry students submitted smartphone pictures that captured their day at the School.
