Dr. Paula Foster who was named a Fellow of the World Molecular Imaging Society (WMIS) at the annual meeting in Prague this September.
Dr. Lakshman Gunaratnam for receiving the Canadian Society of Transplantation 2023 Research Excellence Award.
Mariyan Jeyarajah, PhD, who was amongst the Gold Medal winners in this year’s Governor General Academic Awards, which recognize outstanding students across Canada.
Vladyslav Podskalniy, Dentistry Class of 2023, who will be representing Canada at the International Association for Dental Research (IADR)’s Undergraduate Hatton Competition.
Clara Pringle on receiving a $3,000 scholarship from Municipal Retirees Organization Ontario to support her studies.
Dr. Gregor Reid's remarkable contributions as a professor emeritus at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry and a distinguished scientist at Lawson, the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) has introduced a new award. Dr. Reid is one of the pioneers in probiotics research and one of the founders of the Western Heads East program. The award is for outstanding scholars in developing nations.
Dr. Emil Schemitsch, Chair/Chief, Department of Surgery, who was elected as the President of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA). Dr. Schemitsch began his term as President at the OTA Annual Meeting on October 19, 2023.
Dr. Saverio Stranges who has been recently elected as the new President of the Chronic Disease Section for the European Public Health Association, which is the largest organization of public health associations and institutes in Europe with nearly 40,000 members.
Dr. Sondos Zayed for being named one of the 'Top 100 Canada’s Most Powerful Women.' She achieved this recognition after successfully completing her residency training on June 30.
