Congratulations to the Centre for Education Research & Innovation (CERI). After a successful review, CERI has been renewed for a four-year term ending August 31, 2019. The external review highlighted a number of achievements in the Centre’s first term, including: its growing national and international research reputation; its extensive mentorship of Schulich Medicine & Dentistry faculty; and its interdisciplinary, collaborative culture. Congratulations to Dr. David Spence for receiving the Scientific Excellence Award 2015. “The CSATVB Scientific Excellence Award” is sponsored by the Canadian Society for Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology. Dr. Spence will accept his award on October 25 at the Canadian Cardiovascular Society meeting in Toronto.
