Celebrating a diversity of excellence
A crowd of 250 guests and colleagues gave Dr. Robert Murray a standing ovation as he rose to accept his Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Celebration of Excellence. Dr. Murray has been a champion for microbiology locally, nationally, and internationally and has been a member of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology for 68 years.
Murray was one of 24 recipients honoured at the 2014 Dean’s Awards and Schulich Awards of Excellence.
This year’s celebration brought together a diverse group of recipients from media relations to obstetrics and gynaecology, demonstrating the excellence and talent that is apparent throughout every department and program at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry.
