Dr. Jennifer Lam, MD’11, took the country by storm as a collegiate athlete winning almost every award available. Today she continues to live her dream as a paediatric surgeon with the promise of an exciting career.
Fred Possmayer, PhD’65, receives University honour
Professor Possmayer’s ground-breaking contributions have saved thousands of lives around the world and will continue to do so for generations to come. His work is being recognized with a 2019 Professional Achievement Award of Merit.

MD Program Curriculum Renewal
With physicians expectations changing, the needs, interests, and learning styles of medical students changing, and societies expectations for a greater inclusion of cultural safety in the delivery of health care increasing – medical education must change and Schulich Medicine is embarking on a curriculum renewal.
A holistic picture of education and care
800 students from medicine, dentistry, nursing, physical and occupational therapy, social work and more converged on Alumni Hall to take part in an historic day of interprofessional learning.
