Other Basic Medical Science Modules
Honours Specialization modules
The basic medical science departments, in conjunction with departments from other faculties, offer the Honours Specialization modules below that lead to BSc (Honours) degrees:
- Biochemistry and Chemistry
- Genetics and Biochemistry
- Medical Biophysics (Biological Science Concentration)
- Medical Biophysics (Physical Science Concentration)
- Neuroscience (BSc degree is granted by the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry)
Major modules
One of the following Major modules can be completed in non-BMSc degrees, e.g. BSc, BA, BHSc degrees:
- Biochemistry
- Epidemiology and Biostatistics
- Medical Biophysics
- Medical Cell Biology
- Medical Sciences
- Microbiology and Immunology
- One Health (may only be taken in an Honours degree with Double Majors)
- Pharmacology
- Physiology
Minor modules
The following Minor modules can be included in a variety of degree types (e.g. BSc, BHSc, etc.), as well as in BMSc degrees:
- Biochemistry
