Welcome Message to ACB Students
On behalf of the Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all of our talented new and continuing students as you embark upon the 2020-2021 academic year.
This promises to be a year unlike any other we have experienced before. While there is no doubt that the background of the ongoing global pandemic has introduced new stresses and challenges, there are also some amazing opportunities for creative evolution of our academic activities. The Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology is proud of our strong sense of community and our rich history of teaching and research excellence. Over the past several months we have been working hard to ensure that we can continue to deliver the highest-quality education to our students, including providing opportunities for meaningful research experiences and close interactions with faculty.
I encourage you to keep an open mind and positive outlook for this academic year. Collaborate with your peers and teachers; be willing to step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself; and most of all take care of yourselves and others around you. We look forward to working closely with all of you to support your successful academic journey!
