David Cechetto appointed the Order of Ontario
I am extremely pleased to share the news that ACB's own David Cechetto has been appointed to the Order of Ontario.
This significant honour recognizes Ontarians who have left a lasting legacy in the province. In particular, David is being recognized for his pioneering contributions to understanding the integration of neural and vascular systems in health and disease, and for his ongoing international development work in Rwanda and Burundi in the area of maternal, newborn and child health.

A few examples of other appointees this year include Dr. Alan Bernstein, founding President of CIHR; Allan Rock, former politician and UN Ambassador; and Dan Aykroyd, actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
