In Memoriam - Dr. Ralph Brooke
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Ralph Brooke on Tuesday, September 30.
Dr. Brooke served as Dean of the School of Dentistry at Western University for 15 years – from 1982 to 1997. Under the leadership of Dr. Brooke, the dental school grew and thrived, helping make it one of the top dentistry programs in the country and a destination of choice for students looking for exceptional clinical experience. The Canadian Dental Association awarded him with an Honorary Membership in 1994, which is given to recognize those who have made outstanding contributions to dentistry or the dental profession over a sustained period of time.
Known as a true lover of life, Dr. Brooke's passions, besides his family and work, included music, wine-making and travelling the world, including several trips to Israel.
